Our First Community Outreach Mission: Lending a Helping Hand

At Panhandle Search and Rescue, our hearts have always been dedicated to helping others whether that means finding someone who’s lost or lending a hand to our neighbors when they need it most. Recently, we had the privilege of completing our very first community outreach mission, and it was truly an experience to remember.

At Panhandle Search and Rescue, our hearts have always been dedicated to helping others whether that means finding someone who’s lost or lending a hand to our neighbors when they need it most. Recently, we had the privilege of completing our very first community outreach mission, and it was truly an experience to remember.

Together, we sorted through years of memories, setting aside what was still good and letting go of what had run its course. Items that could still serve a purpose were donated to help support our search and rescue operations, while the rest was carefully removed to give her a fresh start. By the end of the day, her home looked lighter and so did her spirit. Seeing the relief and gratitude on her face reminded every one of us why we do what we do.

We’re proud to say this is just the beginning. We plan to continue reaching out and giving back, because helping our neighbors is just as important as responding to emergencies.

To everyone who supports us thank you. You make missions like this possible. Together, we’re building a stronger, safer, and more caring community, one mission at a time.
